General terms and conditions

  1. Registration and enrollment
    You can register for a course or workshop through our website, by email, or by phone. Both online and phone reservations are binding. If you register online, you will receive immediate confirmation. For registrations by email or phone, confirmation will be sent within approximately one week.
  2. Special data and exclusion
    To participate in an activity, it is important that you inform Högda Wilderness Wisdom of any relevant information that may be necessary for the execution of the activity. This includes any medical conditions, disabilities, or medication use. We treat this information as strictly confidential. Providing incorrect or incomplete information may result in exclusion from participation, without the right to a refund. If you, due to mental or physical conditions, or misconduct, hinder the activity or the well-being of others, Högda Wilderness Wisdom reserves the right to terminate your participation without the right to a refund. Any additional costs are your responsibility.
  3. Payment
    When booking through the website, payment is due immediately. When booking by email or phone, payment is due no later than 14 days after the invoice date and in any case before the start of the activity. b) If payment is not received within 14 days of the invoice date, Högda Wilderness Wisdom reserves the right to cancel the booking. In that case, the cancellation policy in Article 5 applies.
  4. Travel documents
    You must have a valid ID (passport or ID card).
  5. Cancellation and rebooking by participant
    • At least 6 weeks before the start: no costs Between 2 and 6 weeks before the start: 50% of the course fee Within 2 weeks before the start: full payment amount
    Rebooking:
    • Up to 6 weeks before the start: free of charge Up to 2 – 6 weeks before the start: 25% of the course fee Within 1 week before the start: 50% of the course fee

  6. Cancellation by Högda Wilderness Wisdom
    Högda Wilderness Wisdom makes every effort to ensure activities proceed, but reserves the right to cancel an activity if there are insufficient participants, dangerous weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances. In that case, the full amount will be refunded, and we will work together to find alternatives.
  7. Other participant in the place
    If you are unable to attend, you can nominate a substitute, provided that:
    • The replacement meets the stated conditions (such as age limit)
    • The request must be submitted at least 7 days before commencement
  8. Modification by Högda Wilderness Wisdom
    Högda Wilderness Wisdom reserves the right to amend the agreement under significant circumstances. Any price changes due to exchange rate fluctuations, taxes, or levies may be passed on.
  9. Liability of Högda Wilderness Wisdom
    Högda Wilderness Wisdom is responsible for the correct execution of the booked activity, regardless of whether it is carried out by its own instructors or engaged partners, taking into account the restrictions in Articles 6, 7, 8, 10 and 11.
  10. Participant's liability
    • You must follow all instructions to ensure safe and proper performance and are liable for any damage caused by unauthorized behavior.
    • If you cause any nuisance or inconvenience, Högda Wilderness Wisdom may terminate your participation. Any costs will then be borne by you.
  11. Disclaimer of liability Högda Wilderness Wisdom
    • Högda Wilderness Wisdom is not liable for damages caused by negligence of the participant.
    • We accept no liability for damage covered by travel or cancellation insurance.
  12. Complaints procedure Do you have a complaint? Report it directly to the instructor. If your complaint cannot be resolved immediately, you can submit it in writing within one month after the end of the course via kurt@hogda-wilderness-wisdom.com. We aim to handle complaints carefully and within one month.
